sounder problems.

Hey all. Just got a new boat and it has a great Garmin GPS/Sounder as well as a Hummingbird sounder. I would love to keep both as the old eyes don't like looking at the split screen on the Garmin. (5 inch) but when I have both on the interference makes the hummingbird unreadable even when they are on different frequencies. Turn one of them off and the other is perfect. Both transducers are next to each other and the leads are cable tied together for the length of the boat. Before I go to the hassle of moving one of the transducers and cable to the other side and drilling more holes in the transom, has anyone had this problem and will moving one of the trannys work.
cheers.

turn sounder off
I don't have the detail but you should have the option in th settings to turn the transducer for the Garmin off. Then you could just use the garmin for the gps and hummingbird for sounding.
