So what are you listening to at the moment?

Time for an update on what everyone's listening to at the moment, it's always good to hear what people have on rotation.

So what are the five main albums you're currently flogging (doesn't have to be new music)?

For me (in no particular order):

  1. Attack and Release - Black Keys
  2. Covert Operations - 18th Street Lounge compilation
  3. The Definitive Collection - The 5th Dimension
  4. Rubber Factory - Black Keys
  5. Burning Your House Down - The Jim Jones Revue

Dethklok - The Dethalbum (Metalocalypse tv show)

Devildriver - Beast...... Black Soul Choir FTW!

The Doors - Greatest Hits. reckon The Ghost Song is Jim Morrisons' greatest creation ever. "Indians scattered on dawns' highway bleeding; ghosts crowd the childs fragile eggshell mind"

Igor Presnyakov - Best Of. one of my favourite youtube stars. rewrites famous songs and plays them on a classical guitar.

Mumford and Sons - Sigh No More. just love em.

for a bit of fun, always turn to Flight of the Concords haha.

and, lastly, i always have Pink Floyd discography with me. always good for a chill out. actually listening to Have a Cigar right now!

got heaps more aswell, but these are the main ones.

Ha Ha Spy v Spy, 'Credit Card

Thu, 2011-06-30 17:43

Ha Ha Spy v Spy, 'Credit Card is a great song! Saw them live in Perth some time back at the 'Old Melbourne Hotel' Don't think that pub is there anymore...? Love heavy stuff and good Blues, so long as true instrumentalists are playing. My son play's lead guitar and many members on this site used to have a Friday session at my place where Ryan would play live.

Heavy;

Black Label Society

Metallica

Pantera

Anthrax

Papa Roach

Corrosion of Conformity

Audio Slave

Blues;

Stevie Ray Vaughn

Robert Cray

Gary Moore

George Thorogood

Jeff Healy Band, (This dude is totally Blind)

Jon Spencer Blues Explosion

Toby, (Saw her and her band this year at Coral Bay Pub, absolutely awesome!)

Aussie Music;

ACDC

Cold Chisel

Screaming Jets

Angels

Sunny Boys

Icehouse

Rose Tattoo

Hmmm, I could go on and on! Guess i just love music. When my son Ryan releases his 1st album which he is currently working on but will still be sometime yet before release, I hope all FW members will hit youtube to view and listen to.
