No problems, you serious mate? your coming all the way from bunbury! there is way better fishing grounds down your way then going in the sound! i would not waste your time or fuel fishing the sound over somewhere down your way.
The wreck charted on the AUS117 is incorrect......thats actually a reefy lump (no wreck) but does produce snapper!!!
The true D9 is due South of there approx half a NM etc!!!
Muzza,
Get yourself the AUS117 chart and look for likely snapper haunts ie structure as "structure" = food = the likely spots your after. Pinnacle rock does produce but the deeper lumps or deeper structure near drop off's are better.........as for bait whole scaly mackerel on snelled hooks are the best!!!

Well Cockburn sound, 3 rays and 2 gummy sharks caught. Fished from around 4.45pm till 0800pm. 50,000 seagulls and 40 kg of flying gwana (Birdshit).
Back in Bunnas now after chipping all the ice off before we left. Cracker of a day for a fish down here.
Have a great day fellas.
