Shimano Sienna FE?

Looking for a couple of 1000 or 2500 size reels for the boys, what are the Siennas like?

There are 2500's for $40 online
Or any other recommendations, boy proof and wallet proof

I have had one for years. Very basic reel, not the smoothest but has been reliable. Way better than other reels I've seen in that price range.

Siennas are a great little reel for the price especially if you can nail one at $40. Easy to service too and my boys still use mine after I upgraded to Rareniums.

I have a 1000, 2500, and 4000 among my collection.  Great reels for the price you pay.  I have boated decent size shovel nose shark and decent size rankin on the 4000.  The smaller reels i use for squid, herring, whiting etc.

Hi Rob,

Anaconda have them for $40 for Club Members atm
Great buy
My 2 boys use them on their small boat rods and they are still going strong

I am sure they will do the job on a few small dirty fighting Baldies
