Just wondering what method is used, when travelling long term & long distance, for containing the fuel tank/s with-in the boat 

 I'm thinking of leaving them (2 x 20Lt tanks) behind the rear seat area and putting some sort of carpeted 'deck' over them and having it secured securely

Has anyone any thoughts on this or maybe a better system
