As for Sailfish in June they
As for Sailfish in June they should be around but best to as someone up there closer to the time.
As for gear you will have no dramas using TLD 20/25 10kg-15kg line.
You will have no problems using anything as long as the drag is smooth and can hold atleast 300-400mtrs 15kg mono. In a boat you can chase them down before being spooled. Alot of guys chase them in the gulf on 6-10kg gear using threadline reels like spheros and penn 8500

November
November-Decembers best time in the gulf, on the west side you just never know. Probably anytime between November and July.

info!
I've done well during June/July/August at Tandabidi. First thing in the morning when it's a SE/E winds and fish behind the reef doing slight zig-zags in the 25-40m contour. 10-15kg Line class and reels with smooth lever drags as mentioned is the go.
Running skipping gardies with a circle hook in front and running soft head Richter pushers is good also. You can drop back a gardie to a raised fish that is playing around with your pusher also. Have 2 flapping bird/squid teasers is a must and work the ground just out from the passage South, once South the main reef disapears a bit and that's when i head North again!
All the best!
