Rod for Stella 6000
Submitted by NORUN NOFUN on Mon, 2016-07-25 19:31
Have bought a Stella 6000
I bought this reel to do some jigging, jigs weights will be around 90 - 160g, fishing depth will vary from 20mtrs to 60mtrs, maybe 90.
Looking for advice or recommendations on rod choice ?
Funds can go to 500 for the rod atm.
Cheers guys

Last I saw they were 50% off at Tackle HQ. That's an amazing rod if you can still get that discount

They had 30% off the grapplers which was really good
The j types were still 499
Seriously considering the 603 grappler, pe3, great rod @ $280.

I would have though a 6k
I would have though a 6k would be too big for a light weight PE3 jig stick so today I took out my 08 Stella 5k on a PE3 NS blackhole explorer and its perfect, the 6k should sit well on a grappler.
