G'day,
One of my old girl's has given up the ghost, Its so old it has the brand rubbed off, cut a long story short, the reel seat just spins on the but. How can re-fix it the butt.

not a fun repair !!!
2 ways...
cheep nasty way - 5mm drill bit and drill some holes through the reel seat under where the reel foot sits being VERY carfull not to go any further than the ACTAUL reel set and not into the blank...then mix up some 24 hour aryldite and push it into the holes while rotating the seat to spread it around. taoe up the holes, line up the seat and leave it for 2 hours...2 later check thats its lined up, remove the tape, and clean any dags with a metho soaked rag...
version 2 - this is the normal proceedure. cut of the butt cap and rear grip, remove the seat, and all the packing and glue, re glue the seat, new rear grip and new butt cap...
