hi all
just wondering about that. i have navionics gold , and just head outside to sit on boat and put a couple of marks on interesting looking points straight onto plotter.
is navionics platinum well worth the money , and even if not, how the best way is to plan your next trips on pc
have read a couple of things about navionics nav planner and fugawi. is there any other software out there, like a very in depth google earth ,but for sea bed ??
it must cover all the way out to trench in good detail and show gps positions obviously.

If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

Im not to sure on the google thing ,i have the gold card , no matter were you are look for the contor lines, they are a dead give away ,you still need to put in the hours lookin gfor the ground but staying close to these lines can narrow it down a little.
