new saltiga rod

theres a new saltiga rod series out called the saltiga spartan, they dont look to bad a little to technical with the reel seat and look very expensive.
what do you reckon theyll retail for and when will the hit the shores of australia?
i think the original saltiga rods will leave them for dead!

They're already in Aus. A mate in Sydney had a look at one last weekend. I beleive he said they are a limited edition rod & retail for around $800. I stand to be corrected though.

There are some at bluewater mindarie! they are a limited edition. Looks a bit to bling for my liking but the blank is very strong for it diameter. Go check them out.

That price is bloody ridiculous. The cost of fishing gear this day is just sad. I'll be going back to the handline soon, just as effective and almost just as fun.
