4000 sized Daiwa or Shimano

4000 sized Daiwa or Shimano spin reel on a 6'6"-7' graphite spin rod rated upto 20lb with some good quality 20lb braided line. Go to one of the good tackleshops in this fine state. Im sure they will be able to point you in the right direction depending on budget.

For the record I use a Shimano Sustain 4000/20lb Daiwa Accudepth braid/Shimano T-Curve Saltwater Spin 7' 5-10kg. Does the job well, have caught some ripper fish on this outfit.

Check out the Lemax SlimMax SM-S70, matched with a 4000 size reel with 20lb it's a fish slayer.

One of my fave rods for medium weight plastics up north (offshore) and then taking to the Sandbar off Coral Bay flicking plugs around for queenies.
