new reel/rod

hey i am getting bored with the drag on my reel that keeps loosing me big fish so i need to get a new reel and probably a new rod. any ideas of a good reel for about 100-200 bucks? ill be going for snapper mulloway, salmon, tailor, flathead, squid, yellow tail kingies, maybe small sharks. any tips would be good thanks

i have one and its a bloody strong reel
i think they retail for around 150
puts out 15kg drag which isnt bad for 150 bucks
got a massive spool cap aswell
will be over gunned for flathead and squid
id get a diff rod for that stuff
its hard to find a reel to catch snapper and mulloway aswell as flatties n squid

yeah dont worry a bout them
yeah dont worry about squid and flattys. i got other rods for them. but yeah mainly mulloway and occasionly snapper

go to balcatta tackle ,and get a penn 850 or 950,boat or beach combo for 160to 180 dollars,good all round value 4 the fish you want 2 catch

SX5000!
A good strong reel, smooth drag system and value for money then the Banax SX 5000 by far!
It has a more superior drag system & less maintenence than Penn. Stronger internals than many other brands. The internals are brass main & pinion gears which will out last other gears!
They sell for $150 and a rod to suit would be in the $200 budget with discount!

will that also be a strong enough reel for bigger fish? like big kingies and mackrel? ill probably be using about 25 pound line on what ever reel i get.

I triple that - a good, strong versatile reel
If you were just looking for a good value beach/rock rod I would go for a Redback - made with support from Pacific Composites and a super value piece of equipment.
