Sorry the facebook link doesn't seem to work. It shows a SA bloke using an electric beater spindle (like those that you use in the kitchen) attached to a cordless drill. Works a treat. Never seen this before, most ingenious.

You'd be finding scales around the house for years after though...

Can guarantee it wouldn't take the scales off a redfin perch
. Those scales are just about welded on. Makes them easier to skin though.
