NAVMAN USER CARD
Submitted by VAGABOND on Fri, 2008-07-25 09:39
Having trouble finding someone that stocks user card for Navman GPS, you can take your map card out and put a data card in and store your data waypoints etc. I've been told you can use a flash card to do the same thing? Anybody have an info on this?
I keep a record of my GPS spots, but if my GPS does go bang at least It would be easy to transfer with a card rather than maually.
Thanks Jason.

Hey Vagabond
I Have tried to find a dealer in perth that would sell me one also but have a good solution to your problem.
Step 1. Get your waypoints screen up.
Step 2. Take digital camera in hand.
Step 3. Focus and shoot.
Step 4. Repeat step 3 for all of the pages.
Step 5. Download pics onto PC for future reference.
Job done DUDE
Cheers
Ted

I all ready record all of my waypoints but with the card you can insert the card and down load your waypoints onto it and update etc and also upload onto another gps, I have around 400 waypoints and if the days comes that I have to put them into a new GPS manually would suck!
The Digi camera idea is a good one.

if you lost all your waypoints you could start all over again.that would only take about 10 years, give the rest of us a chance........ but that would realy suck would be a shit

Hey Vag.....waypoints....backup service
Hey Jason, I have a Navman, so if you are worried about them, pop them all in a PM and I'll provide offsite backup for you. Because I consider you a friend, I won't even charge for the service.
