Marlin at the trench

Rough conditions offshore today, but a few crews ventured out.  One boat raised two fish, and tagged a blue marlin estimated at 180kg.

If you want to chase some billfish for great prizes, there is still time to enter the PGFC Marlin Cup.

Water

Water is pretty much the same temp it has been for a little while over a large area around the trench. 21.5 - 22 degrees.
Starting to sea some good sea colour and other activity out there though.

Often it is more about people actually getting out there and giving it a go.
We get so many questions at the club about whats the temp and whats happening out there that by the time action is reported it can be too late and people miss it.

2 more fish were raised today with one being a big fish .
