Markfish

Hi guys
Ive purchased a lowrance elite 9ti and a markfish and I've wired it up and triple checked my wiring but I still can't get it to talk to my furuno 588
Ive gone through the settings on both units as described in the mark fish manual but no luck
I'm hoping someone here has had some experience with this setup
Thanks

Hey mate. For the Markfish
Hey mate. For the Markfish you need the following settings on your Furuno in the NMEA menu:
NMEA: In/Out
TLL Output: TLL
NMEA OUtput: On
I had all of the above and I could mark the Lowrance with the Furuno in my driveway but not whilst on the water. After working through them with Markfish I went into the 'NMEA0183 Output Sentences' menu on my Lowrance and disabled all sequences besides GLL and she now works a charm. Seems there was too much info being sent and it was log jamming.

Too easy mate, it took 4
Too easy mate, it took 4 frustrating trips to get it working but it's a brilliant bit of kit once you have it going. On a smooth day I'll let my brother drive (once we're well past the 3 mile) and I'll sit in the passenger seat with he Furuno facing me and marking spots driving at 25+knots.
I'll now also check DPT in the NMEA OUtput Sentances to hopefully send depth data as well.
