Takes some small minnows and
Takes some small minnows and some small poppers if you want to have some fun
If I see some I usually catch and release half a dozen and move on.
Really when its that easy ya only spoiling future much bigger fish.
If their undersize find another patch
I think Tailor size is 35cm ?
The bigger ones up above 50cm dont seem to be up around the surface for some reason, theyre in another place where people wouldnt expect them down deeper even caught either side of mid day.

Head down to Conto's
Head down to Conto's Springs. Cheap - possibly FREE camping if you avoid the ranger, and some good beach-rock fishing along this general stretch. This is all 2WD accessible.
If you have 4x4 Boranup is a magic long sandy beach that you can get onto via a road just south of the southern entry to Boranup Dve (sorry forget name) otherwise follow track to top of dunes that comes off Boranup Dve and walk down for some good beach fishing if wind is offshore. Can camp in here amongst the peppermints for FREE - just be respectful of the area and take out everything you take in.
good luck and avoid the wrasse

if you get a chance head
if you get a chance head down to kilcarnup, just a small drive out of margs however its only 4x4 acess, awsome diving and there is a huge range of marine life. we saw big blues just meters off the reef and if you go there on a flat day which is very rare, the outer reef can produce some awsome fishing
