Landbased Game - Wire Snell

Hi All,
Just wondering what is the best wire and knot set up for wire snell rig with some large circle hooks for some landbased game fishing.

I've been using 150lb plastic
I've been using 150lb plastic coated 49 strand wire. The 49 strands will give you more flexibility to be able to tie a smell knot around the hook shanks. After tying the knot, melt the plastic with a lighter and the knot should pull up nice and firm. Once the plastic dries it will be a solid knot. Flemish eyes for the swivels. You can also crimp the wire for peace of mind.
