How Much Tackle

Gday,

I have the unfortunate job of  moving house and spent some time last night sorting out and packing most of my fishing gear for the move.  Now im sure i dont have any ware near as much stuff as some of you guys and girls, but the thought did enter my mind how much fishing stuff is too much as i have some gear i havent used in ages. But i am always keen to go to the tackle shop and buy more gear when i do go fishing. I have quiet a bit of gear and was wondering how much gear is too much or is there no such thing? Now to find a new spot to put it all in the new House.

Not problem having too much, the problem is getting caught with too much.

Being a fairly new player, I

Being a fairly new player, I find this whole fishing game is a bit of a trap. Everytime I'm in a store and see fishing rods poking up over the aisles, or passing a tackle store - I feel the need to have a browse through the range and pick up a couple of bits.

There always seems to be something I need, or something that I 'might' need, so I am constantly purchasing new tackle or topping up on existing tackle.

I think the fact that they make the tacklebox compartments so deep does not help. You empty a packet of hooks in and they hardly cover the surface - so it's almost a psychological thing that you need to fill it up to be complete. Maybe that's just me....

The important thing though is to be organised and take what you need when you go out - rather than lug all of your gear around with you. That's a lesson I learned quickly.

Cheers,

 Rob

Hi. Whenever my missus

Hi.

Whenever my missus starts.
I have two replies.

"how many shoes did you say you had?"
and,
"Would you rather I started Smoking and drinking then".

Shuts her up.

What pisses me. Is If I sell any. She thinks the money should go into family coffers. (Her purse)

No way Jose...
what money is in fishin'. Stays in fishin'...
Same as with my boats and the shooting.

It took me years to get them set up. I'm not reducing any...

See Ya.

Hmmmm think i might have to go to bunnings as the new place dosent have as much storage room as the old one need more shelves so i can fill them up with my fishing diving stuff ( the old place had lots of cupboards)
