Headed out to the 30s off Meelup to get some big sandies but got plagued by small flatties but were greated by several whales playing all around us which enchanted the Mrs and the kids.
Managed to jig a squid that followed up a flattie and headed inshore for a swim where I had a flick with a minnow only to get monstered by a huge school of 35cm+ salmon on my 4lb line on my 1000 reel and 1-2kg rod. Brilliant fun. Dropped the crew off to chase some more squid and ended up with a baby I plan to drop down tomoz.

Nice pics
Went out off Bunno last week and I have never seen so many whales (20+). They were breaching everywhere on the horizon. I actually had to actively look out and drive around them on the 30km trip home to bunbury heading back from Capel. They say population is increasing 10% every year. I can believe it.
Edit: 20+ sightings not necessarily 20+ whales LOL
