yep ran it out on the jet ski ..... I have a pod that goes around my ski and the pot sits perfect you should have see all the boats out the northern end of GI staring at me as I shot pass them !!!!!! In and out in a hour .......

It moved really fast and I was in the water in 15 mins and only had to wait 10 mins to get out. Worth the effort but was hoping for some tuna as well. Ramp was Hillarys Russ.

That's a very nice feed of sandies
Real tasty and great eating just a bit hard to fillet and get rid of all the bones. But worth it in the end.

Was busy even before 6am
I got there just after 5:30 and still had to queue (5 mins) to launch. Went to the fads for one small tuna and then got to wait about 30 mins to retrieve at around 12:30pm

Water
The water was awesome, what I found interesting was for the amount of boats out, we only saw 2 boats out near the fads and a few around rotto west end on the way back in. It wasn't until I hit the back of the line to retrieve that I saw a lot of boats. Maybe we were the only dummies fishing out that wide and could explain why there was very little action! ha ha. Water was cold out on the shelf (19.5) but 22.5 back inside the 100m line.

id be happy as fuck, cant
id be happy as fuck, cant understand why you would enter of the main rd when you could enter via a back rd. my opinion is you shouldnt be alound to enter via hepburn. completly blocks west coast drive when the ramp is like that
