Fishing monday
Headed out wide from Two Rocks on Monday water was lumpy as,plan was to go through some close in patches and see if the fish were on the bite. After a couple of hours and 4-5 patches and lumps I new this could be a slow day .Next patch and Jesse got a nice baldie, and then a Dhuie, around 5kg ,at least we had a feed. The drift was changing all the time every spot we drifted a different direction, frustrating. We thought things would pick up around 11 oclock as this was nearing high tide. There was plenty of fish on the sounder but most wern't biting. After leaving one spot I noticed a school of fish, after a drive back I seen it was a small lump with a big school on it first drop, hook up and dropped back down on again ,got four dhuies here and then thing went quiet ,I think the dropped fish and the released fish shut them down ,day ended up being a good one nine dhuies ,bigest 8kg a baldie ,blackass, sambo, and some small wrase and other bottom fish, all dhuies released without a release weight,in great condition .

9 Dhuies? Hooly Dooly!
9 Dhuies? Hooly Dooly! That sounds like a busy day in the end. It's good to find some fish especially on those lumpy days.
I fish for the future - Cause I can't bloody catch anything!

We were fishing 40-42 m
We were fishing 40-42 m inside the bank ,fish were brought to the top slow .Not often I do use a release weight,I find the blackass more of a pain, as they don't release to well, need a weight for them. Most fish had been feeding as they all spewed up fish and other digested bits .
