Anyone heading out tomorrow? I'm planning on heading out from woodies and fishing the 40s and maybe further weather depending.

Going to head out from point Perron at 6am hoping for longer then half day out there but don't like my chances. Don't like fishing the Northey winds but not much good weather lately and need to scratch the itch.

Launched at 630, got our 4 pinks and released another just before 9 and at the ramp by 10. Much windier than the seabreeze forecast and swell is absolutely cranking!

Was pretty lumpy so stayed inside the reef in 6m. 2 cat sharks, brother lost a nice shark at the boat, heap of hezza, huge pike and a massive Port Jackson. Still better than not heading out

Friday
Went out with some work mates from Hillarys. First light at the near shore ground and didn't do any good, headed out into the 30's and found lots of bait and birds working but couldn't troll up a tuna, drifted the 30's for a couple of undersize pinks, headed south to the anchorages in 20m and berleyed hard for a size pink, good skips around 45cm then hit the whiting grounds on the way home and managed a few.
A good day out but was sloppy early on and the big roller swells were awesome. Really smoothed off in the arvo, not flat but certainly better than earlier in the day.
