fisheries in kalbarri
Submitted by tangles on Mon, 2009-11-09 16:28
was talking to a m8 2day about the upcoming season and fisheries have mentioned that an office could be coming to town finally after a longtime of wondering if they would ever come here. Last time I talked to fisheries about having a permanent office here was 6 years ago and the reply was that there would be too many arguments between them for who wanted to come here. Fingers crossed they will have 2 officers here soon as town needs it, will definately keep everyone in line!

Saw fisheries the other day
Saw fisheries the other day down at the backbeach nailing a group of Italian tourists from Perth with a huge bag of Ab's, urchins and anything else they could get their hands on. Saw fisheries watching them from the bluehole carpark as I went for a run. By the time I had run from blueholes to jakes and back they were just pulling into the backbeach carpark. 3 people sitting on the beach and 1 collecting the goodies. One of the boys was down there when the tourists got there and said the collector was taking absolutely everything. Not a gauge in sight. Hope the book they throw at them is a bloody big one. As a side note they ladies should have also been charged for wearing undersized bikini's. Bigger fine than the Ab's in my book. EEEEEeeewwwwww
Cheers Mick
If the lord did not mean for us to eat fish and game, he wouldn't have made them outta meat
