Bagged my first ever down in Dunsi last year, and agree nice white flesh baked whole. I won't mention the girls cause I'm always in the shit for that lol. Nah well done mate, good to see people getting out and into today, will give it a good spank next Wednesday.
Nice fish, also always caught them decent size as well. Thought there was no size limit? Fisheries list Breaksea at 300mm and Estuary at 400mm but no mention of Harlequin just a limit of 2. I know this is a old topic! Feedback?
I agree, there are no size as the fishing resources management regs 1995 make no specific mention of harlequin fish, other than to group the cod species (other than Charlie's) as a division 1 fish which falls into your demersal groupings. Any fisheries officer that gives you a size is only guessing and would be the reason why people are getting different responses from different officials. Sizes are given for other cods in the regs which are shown in the guide.
my interpretation of the acts and regs only, but anyone can download them and read them

Harley
No size limit, part of demersal bag limit
I am, as I've said, merely competent. But in an age of incompetence, that makes me extraordinary.
