Fish id

Caught this little fella on a jig in 290m on a ruby mark off exmouth. Cut its neck and a s$&t load of blood came out. When it was filleted the meat was still really red almost like tuna.

Pretty ballsy having a crack at a 650g jig. Thought it was sumthing good but was just dragged up sideways.

The boys called it a rusty trumpet fish..

That small one seems to have a large mouth for its size.
