some places sell them as NW Snapper. Not a patch on Red Throats, Spangos, Blue Line. Etc.

not uncommon at Kalbarri.
I'd always assumed they were a tropical fish.
but we have always had the lesser tropicals here. Stripeys, Hussars, Moses Perch, as well as the bigger ones like reds and Rankins.
