I'm not fussy as long as its cold.

Fave was homebrew for a while but need a bit of a break so had a few tooheys new/carlton dry lately, I'm pretty easy really.  Oh and love a bit of the turkey as a night cap hangover starter!

My favorite is free beer...

After that it's either Corona or Stella..

Vietnam earlier this year, they serve Corona with Lime, but the wedge of Lime is dipped in Salt. Adds an extra tang to the beer real nice.............

Mon, 2009-11-16 20:06

I like to brew my own at Billabong and choose Knappstein, bright ale or a Pilsner. I like to do a different brew each time so when I rebrew one it is that little bit more appreciated. Been doing this for 6yrs now. Another top bear if you can find it is Bluetongue pils or lager and they do a ginger beer (which is a beer I would never drink)  but I have been told by "ranga beer" drinkers its great.

Beer man, dont drink wine and spirits only when blind drunk

Mon, 2009-11-16 22:16

So it has to be the best.

Sapporo and Kirin from Japan is the nicest, especially with seafood (make the best tackle, well the beer isnt bad either). Everyday it is the trusty Very Best (VB). Out of favour and not trendy but I dont give a rats ass. It is taste that counts.

Cheers

Neels

PS no trendy beers for me. Drink what touches the senses, not the mates idea about how cool you are!!!!! When out drink the top of VB which is Crown (it is the top of a VB beer still)

we used to live on that stuff in the phillipines and singapore and malaysia. Funny thing is we used to pay 50c a bottle for it. Now in Aus they import the stuff and sell it as "high end" imported beer. $22 a six pack. Dont get me wrong i like the stuff, its just funny how things work.

Occy’s do some top brews;

The owners (Bill and Sylvia) are close friends and got me started in home brewing.

My favourite beer…..well, any of mine.  Especially when on the boat and accompanied by fresh seafood.

If at the pub, well a pint or three of Kilkenny or most of the good english ales hit the spot.Cheers Pete

I used to work for the guy

I used to work for the guy that started the matilda bay brewery, they say that the shelf life of cans, before you get a change in taste was 2 weeks. If you like canned beer, you have no idea what beer tastes like.

I used to drink canned beer, but its strictly for camping trips these days as glass takes too long to cool.

From the bottleshop it would have to be Teds Platinum. Bull Brewing down near Wellington Dam do a couple of really nice brew's and I don't mind Feral White or dropping in to the Duckstein.

No Coopers vintage??

Sun, 2009-11-29 13:01

rarer to find than a 20 kg dhui but you can always get it at the old Beaconsfield tavern in Freo. 2004 was the nicest drop out

and for a lighter bear anything with the CUB symbol on it

PS..You know why its called XXXX coz queenslanders dont give a XXXX what they drink...
