Exmouth Heavy Tackle

Anyone fishing the heavy tackle comp, we would love to but I'm busy adding to the family. Is looking like it could be a big one with good consistent fishing lately and sounds like there is a good field of about 30 or more boats already signed up. Hopefully the weather is a bit better than forecast so they can get a at least a couple of good days out wide.

 The wind usually stops

The wind usually stops blowing a week either side of the 15th of feb. Its like a switch.  Once the water temp gets up around 30 degrees the winds back off. The only problem is that it gets bloody hot and humid and sleeping can be a challange especially in a tent.

Will let you know in mid February......

Can be a bit hit and miss with long windy and fine periods usually but usally the back end of the windy season so getting better as long as you avoid the late cyclones that seem to be the trend last couple of years.
