A monster 80 centimetre lobster, 60, has been saved from the kitchen pot.  Nicknamed 'Claws', he was pulled from the sea near Lyme Regis Dorset.

This giant lobster has avoided being the catch of the day in a seafood restaurant due to his huge size and an impressive age of at least 60.  He will be looked after at a local acquarium before being returned to the ocean.  He is rare because of his age, size and abnormally large crushing claw.
