Deep Drop guru's, what are your thoughts on these screen shots? should we be looking for more denser showers in fish? more show on the sounder?
as soon as we came across this i thought we would be on to pulling up 20kg oooglies
we dropped on all these spots and got 2 pinkies a few nannies then just started pulling in green eyes.
any thoughts would be much appreciated

I'm far from a deep drop guru, but I'd also be getting pretty excited if I saw that!
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

For Super Deep sounder stuff;
* I dont use bottom lock out there at all!
* I use A-scope
* I look a bit closer ie the range
As for your questions;
Deep Drop guru's, what are your thoughts on these screen shots? As far as " super deep " species I wouldnt drop on those screen shots!
Should we be looking for more denser shows in fish? Smaller and more dense!
More show on the sounder? No!

I'd say your colors are still on 62? I run mine at 16. An the color erase and clutter between 20-30%

We bagged out on Tuesday on sounder shots no where near as good as those Cahal.
Big shows tend to be reds, pinks or greeneye, but we have got good fish on big shows once or twice. We get most of ours on quite small shows, but my sounder is no where new as good as yours so small shows on my 587 1 kw may be bigger in the 295 and 2/3 kw.
