Curious, your thoughts & what will you be doing?

Okay, with the new Gov Ban being put in place soon, I'm curious to see your thoughts & what will you be doing?

(1) Will you sell your boat?

(2) Will this ban reduce your amount of trips out?

(3) Will you be targetting other species, if so what type?

(4) Will you travel North more during the ban?

(5) Will interest rates & fuel cost be "more" of a factor than the ban?

(6) Will this reduce your spending at your local tackle store, if so what amount ie small/fair bit/or alot?

If "all" can be answered it would be appreciated and Thanks in advance!

(1) Will you sell your boat? - No - doesn't affect me.

(2) Will this ban reduce your amount of trips out? - No - doesn't affect me.

(3) Will you be targetting other species, if so what type? - No - doesn't affect me.

(4) Will you travel North more during the ban? - No, because there'll be a V5 ban on Tongue out

(5) Will interest rates & fuel cost be "more" of a factor than the ban?  - definately for me - already affected.

(6) Will this reduce your spending at your local tackle store, if so what amount ie small/fair bit/or alot? - not because of the V5 ban, but because of (5).

Oop! Got one bite! Tongue out

You're right though, when I went bream fishing recently, and waded in the water to launch Deac's tinny, it took 30 minutes before I could even feel my lower legs. Thank goodness we didn't have to wade in waist deep! SurprisedYell

(1) Will you sell your boat? no

(2) Will this ban reduce your amount of trips out? no

(3) Will you be targetting other species, if so what type? Deepwater species, pelagics, KG's, freshwater.

(4) Will you travel North more during the ban? Yes North and South

(5) Will interest rates & fuel cost be "more" of a factor than the ban? no

(6) Will this reduce your spending at your local tackle store, if so what amount ie small/fair bit/or alot?
It will, the weather will play a big part, because there are not many days you will be able to go out real deep, so we'll use less hooks, swivels, bait etc.

(1) Will you sell your boat? No plus unlike others, I've thought about it and the missus told me I'm not selling the boat..

(2) Will this ban reduce your amount of trips out? No, I don't eat seafood I fish for the sport mainly, so I'm not worried about table fish, I give it to the boss to eat and she don't eat much

(3) Will you be targetting other species, if so what type?  No more than usual, A table fish is a bonus, as said before

(4) Will you travel North more during the ban? No not really,

(5) Will interest rates & fuel cost be "more" of a factor than the ban?  No, being out on the water is more inportant...

(6) Will this reduce your spending at your local tackle store, if so what amount ie small/fair bit/or alot?  Not really as I don't just target table fish, but I will still be buying lures

For me not eating fish, I'd rather chase tailor on 6-10lb line than dhuies, but I do like taking them occasionally....
