Crocs footwear.........beware

Sure I know they are ugly but they used to be very practical for boating and canoeing........NOT ANY MORE......recently purchased.....October..... my new crocs have shrunk two sizes. Yes shrunk!  The company blames the problem on hot weather!   What.... don't they expect hot weather in Oz?   Then, after first stating that their warranty is for 180 days in an email to me have taken a massive backward step and now maintain the warranty is only 90 days putting my purchase just a couple of days outside the warranty period.  Do they seriously suggest they are "fit for purpose" for use in this country.  Me thinks the Trade Practices Act would deem otherwise so if they think I am going to accept their dodging and weaving they had better think again.

Think twice before buying Crocs, the cheap imitations don't shrink and are at least half the cost.

And Anaconda today said they had several complaints........Crocs are busily advertising their new range on Facebook so perhaps I might add some feedback on their page if they try any more duck and dives

They'll shrink in the sun or real hot weather.

Just never take them off.... like me.

We use them at work a fair

Sat, 2018-01-20 18:50

We use them at work a fair bit, inside vessels accom when off duty need to be enclosed and heel strap.

But I only buy the $7 Kmart ones, and leave a couple pairs at work, on my boat etc

They are also handy for on the coral at the islands

Yeah, at least you can get Evairs in camo

Sun, 2018-01-21 07:20

. I have a couple of pair of Evairs, unforunately I sit right between 10 and 11, no half sizes. So the 10's have a little flap cut over the big toe, whhich makes them perfect. 11's chafe over the course of a day because they are too big.

I ride my wifes' scooter, but I wouldn't wear crocs.

Yeah understand.

Not everyone has the confidence to admit croc love

Or admit croc envy.

Are you saying we are not secure in our masculinity?

Sun, 2018-01-21 17:27

I did admit to riding my wifes scooter ( because I'd have to move it anyway to get to either of the 3 other bikes in the shed)

And to Crocs credit they have replaced under warranty

Tue, 2018-02-06 08:30

Now all they need to do is to go back to their old formula for what they are made out of.

Mine shrunk too

Tue, 2018-02-06 08:43

Mine shrunk too, got locked in a car whilst one of the guys we were fishing with hooked himself and had to go from Cervantes to Jurien to have the hook removed from his hand. Was his car and he had the keys. By the time he got back, my Crocs were at least 2 sizes too small. Have subsequently bought 3 pairs of rip offs for half the price of one crocs and so far so good. Have to wear crocs with socks so I can keep my splitting heels creamed a bit. Always used to wear thongs before
