just recon he babbies them mitch ok at least he can bowl shaun on the otherhand is a falure and always has been watson didnt stuff up as much as him look at the talent we have to fill those roles and some bloody good wa boys that deserve a crack and a experence bowler would help
yeah in Australia and india tought us a lesson at home in the 20/20 bet if we played a test now probaly get flogged all well and good making runs at home but they need to make em overseas and we need to take wickets hear and overseas the only reson were number one is scheldling cause theres a lot better test sides and 1day sides then us.
When they start winning overseas itll be a brillant team winning just in oz means were lucky cause so much of our cricket is played hear hence our world ratings
watto for an old sol blizzard another option for the team falkner great in oz but the other world sides seem to have him sussed thought he'd have a bigger impact on the team but hasnt quite delivered maybe an experience thing i like boyce and god knows's we need a leg spinner in all forms of the game and i love maxwell but please start bloody preforming so much talent
Yeah we need Maxy on the spin friendly pitches and Faulkner might be ok on those pitches with his changes of pace. Although I think he has been dissapointing of late. Boyce is a jet and just needs to be played to gain more confidence (he doesn't need much more seems a confident bowler but you know what I mean)
Really think our bowling stocks aren't as great as everyone/commentators say as we don't have a gun front liner
warney called it before he left train a leg spinner and while we have alot of paceman we have no elite fast men no Trent bolts no mornay morkels and give Boyce game time in all formats aspecally tests
Warner keeping in T20 on Indian wickets? Thats giving someone that doesn't even train as a keeper a tough gig.
Looks like you've had a tough time picking 12 as well
I think they should have selected this side from the start and stuck with it.
Be really hard picking a side but I'm glad a few of our young guys are playing. We cant win this comp over there so the experience they will get is worth the selection.
Except Tye....cant field or bat, neither can I but I'm not playing for Aus ha
Warriors letting any chance of a Shield final slip as well although without Dorf we were never going to take the 20 wickets required to win the final on whatever road the home side rolled out
flew in couple days ago, rest our injury prone players for the more important test series to come, the selectors told us weeks ago players will be rested and prepaired for the tests series, the 20/20 last week was more important then theses crappy one dayers world cup coming, wrong marsh callum, this is like australia A at the moment
Memories of the last ashes tour in England, as soon as the ball starts moving a bit or the pitch gives something to the bowlers we are stuffed.
Cricket Australia demanding lifeless flat pitches for maximum runs to entertain the big bash loving masses and our best players have no idea how to handle more difficult conditions overseas. One dayers don't mean anything but our blokes want to sort things out before the test matches or might be embarrassed.
give the aussies flat decks like they had at home this summer and they are world beaters. As soon there is something in the pitch and any sideways movement,be it either seam or swing, and we get made to look second rate. Just look at the wickets around the country these days WACA-no pace or bounce in the wicket anymore Gabba-very little in the pitch these days, only really swings when conditions allow MCG-typical drop in pitch thats as flat as a road Adelaide oval-even more of a batsmens paradise than it ever has been SCG-what spin. Come on curators, stop listening to the powers above and produce wickets that might actually challenge our batsmen, and turn them into better players in all conditions.
Out on my own tomorrow, thank God, couldnt stand another earful particularly with the rugby thrown in. Out today putting the pots back in. Nice on the water but phew pretty toasty back on land.
well now that the pyjama cricket is over with and the real stuff has started the so called flat track bullies aren't going so bad knockers have been a bit quiet eh lol
Lucky we won the toss and sent the kiwis in to bat first on that green top,or the state of the test match would be looking a whole different right now.
yeah yr probably right bet the kiwis r spewin there plan backfired when they lost the toss, still i don't reckon the pitch would have changed that much over a day
batted bloody well today and finally impressed with the bowling good to see no s marsh and the bird giving it his best crack, the keepers and interesting one as I don't no mat Wade or Neville both got a lot of growing to do to even come close to our last keepers pretty quality list
It's still far from over and think there'll be a few exciting days to come bring it on test cricket

Callum what you mean by Daddy Marsh as a selector? Sure he's a dad to someone but what has that got to do with selecting Mitch or Shaun?

Maybe he jumped into his time
Maybe he jumped into his time machine and went forward 16 years to select them?

Yep agree there! The T20
Yep agree there! The T20 World Cup could be embarrasing considering how we went against India spinners on our decks!
My T20 WC squad would be:
Warner (WK)
Kawaja
Finch
Smith
Maxwell
Lynn/Head
Bailey/
M Marsh/Watson/Falkner
Lyon/Boyce
Tye
Hazelwood/Berendorf
And I have probably left out a few more but top of my head it was harder than I thought!

The test doesn't look like it will be much better, we're 2/15 in the 5th. Burns for a duck, Warner for 5.
