Just curious as others might be , what according to superstition is the way to change the name of a boat without bringing on bad luck.
i know its superstition but i believe in it . like bananas on a boat or releasing your first fish caught on your new boat

Prayer
there is a Prayer (old skool superstition). Praying to the gods of the sea and winds of each compass point etc. definately involves plenty of booze haha

Superstition about girls on
Superstition about girls on boats, green boats and bananas, though Bananas had a legitimate reason as they rot so quickly, all the food turned to shit in transit if it was packed with Bananas so it was deemed bad luck to have bananas on-board.
I have a theory that Donald Trump decided to go for POTUSA after a green boat full of girls had a banana party.

Im not superstitious in
Im not superstitious in normal life, but when it comes to boats different story.
Very strict on all the normal stuff like bananas and have a few tricks to get fish biting, for example if all is quiet on deck I will get my lunch out of the esky and sure thing second bite in have to put it away because fish are coming in everywhere.
Don't really believe in any of it but its much easier to be lucky than good.
