cervantes - saturday (or suidding in cockburn sound) ???

Trying to plan a day out of cervantes for this saturday and the weather is starting to look crappy!  Windfinder has gone from looking like it was going to be perfect a day and half ago, to 8 - 15 knts now.  Bugger Bugger Bugger!!!  May have to resort to squiding in Cockburn Sound

only the rare appearance of Freo in a final, and that hasn't happened that often in the past! but get used to it because for the next eight - ten years we'll be there!

seriously though, just reading your post about fishing the sound at night?  interesting.  my boat isn't really set up for night fishing yet.  nav lights etc not an issue, but deck lighting is non-existent.

Ha, footy comes first. I use my headlamp. I will get a roll of leds strip lights and putem under the gunnels, looks trick and lights the deck up sweet. Tip- learn how to dim your screen/s beforehand.

we did our first ever night

Mon, 2012-09-03 00:04

we did our first ever night fish in the sound on sat night.. all the nav lights etc... its amazing how much glow the masthead light puts off in the dark at anchor, just have the ever ready dolphin torch on standby.. it gets the job done, even with tangles...

As for 8-10yrs of Dorkers finals... Im biting my tongue

and i am hoping that in 2022, troy that you and i are still on this forum talking footy and then we can see how accurate my prediction is!!! PS would love to have luke available but alas, we will go to melbourne with our best possible team and play our best possible footy, because our team has the integrity not to try and manipulate results just to stay in perth.  Beat anyone, anywhere!  good luck to all in the finals and the best team will win!
