Don't think you can go wrong
Don't think you can go wrong with any of those. My preference would be the tiagra or inter. I have 2x
tiagras 50w. Apparently the makira's are an awesome reel aswell.

Makaira
All quality reels like sammy said, but my vote is the makaira s. I bought an 80 and a 50 last year brilliant s reels. Quality drag very smooth and the best thing is a lifetime warranty. These were designed using all the best qualities and eliminating all the faults from all game reels on the market prior to them.

We run
50 and 80 Tiagras and Inters and have only experienced one problem with a Tiagra ratchet , I think that came from inexperienced anglers leaving the ratchet on for the whole fight ......
Just one more cast , honest !!!

50vsw's
Watcha fishing for Callum. I got 50's backed up with Dacron and then top shot. Any bigger u got the chair? Even the 50's are big reels.

Tiagra 50w
Unless you are built like arnie or have a chair don't waste your money on 80s. 30w are great for standup and if you back with braid hold plenty of line even 24kg. That said 50w with a harness is a good setup for most of WA. If you are fishing trailerboat you should be able to chase most things you hook. That said I have not hooked a big enough blue to test that yet but I know I can't handle an 80 standup anyway. All brands are good, we run all tiagras but have used penn as well and were nice reels. Whichever is the best deal would be my pick, I have built our spread over time as local shops had deals on.

If un don't mind second hand
If un don't mind second hand always seems to be good deals on gum tree. Seems like a quite a few people buy, don't use much then sell cheap

if your chasing big billies
if your chasing big billies 37kg and a decent harness and bent but rod. For me I'd be going Tiagras, to many chater boats use and continue to use the shimanos for a reason.
