there were a few speros on 5
there were a few speros on 5 fatham on Sunday
And i was pissed too, as i pulled up near one who i could barely see his dive flag, and only 10m from him was a dhu floating on the surface, it had been speared, and was only 44cm long..
It was dieing, and was an absolute disgusting site to see.
Im interested to know if spearo's can be fined for such things?

WA bait supplies
they were in fremantle but that was a while ago now. Cray boats will buy 25kg boxes and they pay around 1.50 a kg.
The best is to ping a buffy though and chum him up.

Saw the same thing on Sunday..
3 divers on the 5 with no boat in close proximity...
They were just towing the small dive flags that could not be seen until right on them !
Down right stupid IMO... Especially given it was pretty much on the main run out to Rotto.
Either stay closer to the boat or have someone top side and flanking you in the boat with a large dive flag... Failing that, tow a bigger dive flag that can be seen !

Kaney thats the ones im
Kaney thats the ones im talking about
One of them shot an undersize dhu and left it to die on the surface, he was only 15 metres away from where we found it.
44cm........ come on!!! should not even shoot anything that looks remotely close.
Saying 'oh under water they look much bigger' is no excuse.

My brother was down there
My brother was down there for the comp, he said they did measure one that was 48cm on the surface. Poor form in any case because the comp sizes were 30% up on legal for most species. That would make the min dhu 65cm.
