Broome advice

Hi all,
Will be up in Broome from 24th April - 7th May, never visited the place so if anyone has any current info it would be much appreciated.
Don’t think i’ll be taking the boat up so mostly landbased, would be more than happy catching queenies/small trevs on the light gear if that’s the go?
Had a quick look at tides and looks like 2m early on, up to 8m at the end of the trip.
Thanks in advance
Nick

plenty of queenies around atm
low tide to the right of the jetty on the rocks so bring booties and the arvos have seen some big fish get pulled. The jetty on the high tide has seen lenty of tarpon getting caught vibes like samaki in 100mm have been work well twitching on the edge of the light. Buy some sabikis and go to the 2nd bin on the jetty bring a rope and bucket tio store your live bait then cast them the shallows where mangrove jack, trevally and barra will be waiting.

Local Advice
Worth dropping by a local tackle store to see what advice they have, I was up there a few summers ago and got told that there's a good run of bloody huge mackeral off the jetty floating a bait out
I nearly got spooled on my one run for the night..
