Looked like a pioneer. Nasty smoked motor after the rocky ride, hard to see why they didn't come alongside well before it got to the rocks.

Would you pull a boat to boat jump at 25 odd knots in those conditions to save a boat that is probably insured?

There is no way anybodys health is worth less than a boat.

What would have happened if they went ahead and through an nylon rope across its path?

Do you think it may have tangled in the prop and stopped the boat or changed its course?

I did notice, that boat seemed to accelerate away, unreal to see that.

I dont think they had the power they did not seem to be able to gain to much on it how the fark do u get a boat full throttle engine running heading out in a bay in the first place?. Coastgard was quick on the mark.

obviously the owner didnt have the engine cut out strap on his wrist, jumping on board is abit Dukes of Hazard style at that speed, as the other guys have said the rigs insured and luckily no other boat or person was hurt , i would image if they had pulled up beside it the other boat would have changed direction due to the wash of their boat, great video to watch
