Big big bloody huge wave

Has anyone seen the picture of the biggest wave surfed in the Sunday Times newspaper. Holy hell, 27 metre at a place called Nazare and there is one hell of a brave Aussie surfing down its face. For those who have seen the photo just imagine that you are just coming out of the cut at Mandurah and that thing rears up in front of you. What would you do

Power up my little tinny fighter upto 18 knts ! Then turn her
head on!! She can handle it? Even with two grown men that weigh
over a 120kgs and 20 odd litres of fuel and enough tackle on board
that would make the Ifish crew go geez now that's some gear on
board there !!

Nazare is in Portugal
Renowned for its huge Atlantic swells. What makes it different is that the swell is basically funnelled up a deep undersea canyon, compressing the force and making it really stand up. Terrifying stuff.
