you usually get good whiting outisde the colourpatch restaurant.

but not sure how they are at the moment

i was there about 7-8 weeks ago and there was nothing in the river not even the pros were goin out

There is a place called the water wheel right next to cape Leeuwin light house you get some good size skippy and whiting but you have to go there when the swell is small or the fishing is really uncomfortable and your lucky to get a line in the water but if that does not work for you then try canal rocks and fish the centre of the rocks it may be hard to access but it well worth the effort and go there on low tide, good luck.

Ended up with fishing outside colourpatch because the wind was up managed to get into some nice fat herring and some 30 - 35cm king georges

I didnt try the jetty, i was fishing infront of the playground and next to the boat ramp.
