Anyone going out on Thur 04/01
Submitted by whipasswaverunner on Wed, 2012-01-04 17:31
Hi all, been looking at the wind forecast for the rest of the week, and it doesn't look the best but really want to get out there, say to the 35 - 40m mark.
What has it been like out there for those who have ventured out, as I read on here that seabreeze has had it wrong last 2 days.
Would it be lumpy out there and worth getting out for?
Cheers, and thanks in advance.

I was out
this arvo inside direction bank in th 40m mark just north of Mindarie, loads of fish activity and not even a nibble. Even fisheries back at the ramp haden't seen a fish all day
. The easterly wasnt too bad, but then the NW came in harder than expected - yuk !

Thursday 04/01? LOL
Thursday is my wedding aniversary (F*% I hope) and in 2012 it's the 5th. Anyway, all that aside I think with the current conditions onshore it's a tough call. Hussie is on 50 odd and Clarke is unbeaten on 251. Save the stress and settle back in the arm chair lOL.

I've been watching the weather closely for the last week itching to get out cause I'm on holidays, but it just looks terrible. Wed & Thursday looked really good a few days ago, but as we got closer it turned bad.
I've just about ruled out getting out wide this week, I'll prob just watch the test match some more, and prob put the tinny in the river on Friday and have a Tailor / Flathead bash instead.

weather predictions
Yep the weather men(BOM,seabreeze, ect) have got it wrong quite a bit lately.
We headed out to almost west end of rotto after lunch apparently the wind was going to drop right off .
Same with us plenty of fish on the sounder but only undersize dhuy, snapper and blackass then the wind picked up so it took us nearly two hours bashing into a strong south easterly to get back to woodies.
After we got inside the rock walls at woodies the beer we had from the esky was bloody spot on .

Thanks for your replies, I have also given up going out wide for this week. Might have to do another Swan River Cruise.
