Another good day
Just thought I'd do one more post of this weekends efforts to stir up the west coasters 1 day before the ban is lifted.
I'm sure from tomorrow on this site is gonna be filled with big dhuies and the like but I couldn't resist even if its only 1 more day to go.
A good mixed bag with plenty of size fish returned.
Double headers first drop is always a good sign followed up by a horse kidney slapper next drift and you know the day is gonna be epic
The day was that good I even managed to put the bait away a have a bit of a go at soft plastics. Got a fish every time for the first 5 drifts!!
Popped my nanny and Dhu soft plastic cherry- sweet. I'm finally starting to get keen about it.
Anyway enjoy all and have fun out there once the ban is lifted.

a bit risky using a snap swivel to attach the placcy - hope the next big one doesnt open the snap on ya!

Yeh mate I reckon best to tie placcy straight on
seen a few fish lost from snaps opening - good haul there cant wait to get out there after this bloody demersal ban and wind stops howling cheers

Yeah mate plenty of fish down here it just sucks that the weather doesn't always play nice when you need it too so for me there can be long gaps between trips sometimes
