I'd go the ABU for

I'd go the ABU for durability and servicibility, also it looks like the ABU got the thumb bar release. Should see if you can get the lefty in the C4 range (the 6501 C4 at around $180), much better reel and should be able to do better than that price wise. Only rate the Millionaires in the CV-X, CV-Z range

thank you for the advice. i have to agree totally with u about them Abu with durability and servicibility.

i've got my 6501c4 for $180 ( u were spot on for that) and the Abu 7001 for $230.

other point of view still very much welcome.

hi guys, just an update

Tue, 2008-12-09 23:03

hi guys, just an update about them reels. i ended up getting myself the following two reels, abu TGC6001C and abu 6501C3.both made in Sweden. i hear the abu 6501c3 is like 10yrs old. got it from a really old, dark, dusty and run down fishing tackle shop just outside of KL. both reels add up cost me less then AU$300.

cant wait to bring them back to perth to wet some lines with them.

need some rods to pair with them two. any advice most welcome.

thank you all for your input and all the readers. =)
