Filleting Knife
Great set of knives Ferral, but wouldn't a long narrow blade be better? Just asking?
I've got one that I've had for years - about 12-14" long and about 1 cm wide - find it has wonderful 'touch' for skinning fish (those you don't pull the skins off).

If any wants to grab a few
If any wants to grab a few just pm me and ill pass on the details as the shop gives a " commercial " discount to shoppers, after running them over the diamond this arvo they are well and truly ready for some action . Dont know how everyone fillets but does anyone else fillet with the rib cage and them trim afterwards or fillet and leave the ribcage on the fish. I find after always filleting taking the rib cage this new method filleting around the rib cage is better on the knives and having a few sharp knives to use when they start getting blunt instead of keeping going with a blunt knife is worth it especially if you have a few fish to do .
Dont worry about the banter colin you can just turn around and say that you have worn out more knives than he has caught fish.
