Rainbow Trout

First rainbows I've caught on fly. Taken in Yorkshire on dry flies. We matched the hatch. Stomachs of three fish were crammed with tiny black flying ants. The fourth fish, largest in the pic, contained olive green insect parts, two tiny crustacea and a sliver of silver paper. We caught our bag limit in the first two hours... then practised catch-and-release until dusk.
Looking forward to using my new fly rod and gradually-acquired fly-fishing skills in WA waters once home.
