hi guys
i just wanting to know what the wind direction i should be looking for to go beach fishing. i am wanting to go to yanchep but what wind direction should i be looking out for.

you can fish in anything
you can fish in anything really, but easterly winds make casting and conditions really nice, although does not mean more fish!!

If you eat enough baked beans you can have as much wind as you can handle, you've just got to point it in the right direction.

hi mate, I love fishing Yanchep , easterly in the morning is great for herring fishing but a bit of a seabreeze -sw is good to get the bigger fish on the chew in the evening.

Fished silver sands with my
Fished silver sands with my son two nights ago and the wind was howling... 4 oz sinker and half mulies gets you out and still managed to catch and released 8 choper tailor. You can fish in a strong wind, its when you have big swell or weed as well that it gets tricky.
