WANTED - skippy from Geraldton, Abrolhos, Shark Bay

I am involved in a project looking at trying to identify different species of skippy (Silver Trevally, not Sand Trevally) on the west coast.  We are chasing skippy from the northern part of their range - from Geraldton, Abrolhos , Shark Bay or anywhere even further north than that!  We are interested in anything really, but especially interested in getting some from deeper water (40m +) up that way.

Can anyone help with some donations?

PM if you prefer

Cheers,

Glenn

Will let one of my sons know to keep an eye out, he works on one of the wetliners out of Carnarvon and catch some pretty unusual stuff.

Hehehe, I'm planning some research of my own. Chasing Dhufish fillets from the metro area or outside. Fresh preferred but will accept frozen. PM me for delivery details.

Seriously, good luck with the research Glenn.

Thanks Carnarvonite and Uluabuster, and nice try BD :-).  Perhaps I should clarify - I'd be happy with just the frames ....  so long as all the skeletal elements that support the fins are undamaged.

I can offer a behind-the-scenes tour of the museum fish collection in exchange ....
