Portable lights

I heard that blokes who go squidding on their boat at night shine a light on the water to attract the squid with good success. I'm land based though and just wondering if anyone knows of some portable lights (if they exist haha) I could take down to jetties and other places (which have bad or no lights) to increase my chances

It is my understanding the lights attract fish. The squid prey on the fish attracted by the light. They hide and hunt from the shadows i.e. under the hull of the boat.
